Everything Feels Like the End of the World
Julia’s latest play follows an angel and a demon as they fight over a human soul in a dark comedy about life, death and everything that comes after. The play recieved a developmental production in November 2021 at Main St. Studios in Fredonia, NY and in January 2022 at the Phelps Mansion Museum in Binghamton, NY.
Most recently, Everything Feels Like the End of the World directed by Noelle Elise Crites recieved a staged reading at The Access Theatre Project in Cleveland, OH as a part of it’s New Play Series. The reading starred Sa’Renn Nikol as Angie and Rebekah Mallory as Devon and featured voiceovers performed by Avery LaMar Pope and music by David Bays.

Don’t be a stranger
Julia Marie Black co-wrote the screenplay for this short film with Josh Wahl and also stars as the role of Jaime.
The film follows four people who come to their old hideout to grieve the loss of their friend. A stranger wanders into their midst as they quickly discover who they know and who they don’t.
